The Founders of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. recognized the importance of the intellect in all matters pertaining to the advancement of humankind. As such, they made scholarship the foremost of the Fraternity’s four Cardinal Principles: Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. Scholarship is no side issue – it is an integral and deep-rooted component of this organization. Every member, chapter, and district of the Fraternity is dedicated to scholarship.

Below you will find a list of scholarship opportunities and applications available to students. The applicant must meet all of the listed criteria and upload all documentation before their application is accepted. Please follow all instructions, as an incomplete application will disqualify the applicant from the scholarship opportunity.

Sigma Pi Chapter's South Carolina State University Scholarship is a one-time award. Applicant must be a male high school senior attending school in the Chapter's service areas (Counties of Aiken, Barnwell, Edgefield, Allendale and Lower Lexington in South Carolina). A 3.00 GPA or greater based on a 4.00 system; 4.00 on a 5.00 system or 5.00 based on a 6.00 system.

Recipient must enroll as a fulltime student at South Carolina State University. The award is in the amount of $1.000.00 and is dispersed as $500.00 during the Fall Semester and $500.00 dispersed during the Spring Semester. Proof of full-time enrollment must be verified by the institution's Registrar's Office.

Scholarship
awarded to a graduating male high school college/university-bound student
attending a 4-year academic institution who demonstrates he soars above the rest in a plethora
of areas. It is a $1,000.00 one-time award.
